Junior Leagues and Events for 2009-10
In-House Leauges -- Open to junior members only
River Trails Junior Singles leagues are organized by ability level.
A Level is for the best of the Excellence class division; top High School Varsity players
A- Level--open to the rest of the Excellence class division; lower Varsity and upper JV players.
B+ Level includes the H.S. aged Tournament Training players; 14-18 years old.
B Level is for the younger Tournament Training players; 10-14.
B- Level players must be ble to serve with at least 50% consistency and know tennis scoring and rules to complete a match without supervision. Friday Match Play is suggested for less experienced players. Contact Jason Eden with questions.
Costs: Junior membership is $80 annually. The league cost is calculated as the number of times each player is scheduled to play multiplied by court cost. A through B leagues are 1.5-hour matches and are estimated between $130 and $189. The B- league is an 1-hour league and will cost $108.

River Trails Junior Tour -- Open to junior members only
River Trails Junior Tour is a series of mini tournaments in which players gain points from each event toward a cumulative total. Divisions are by class rank (Future Stars, Tournament Training, and Excellence). Each event will be run in a different format, but worth the same amount of points. Registration fliers and sign ups will be at the front desk. Phone registrations will be accepted with credit card payment.
Points Awarded Each participant's best four results will be used to calculate their total score. At the end of the season, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given to the top three boys and the top three girls in each division. So plan ahead, mark your calendars, and be sure to register before the deadline.

Registration deadlines will be Monday at 8:00 pm prior to the event and will be strictly enforced.
River Trails QuickStart Match Play -- Open to juniors in Mighty Mites or Junior Beginners
The design of the QuickStart format is to get youngsters playing faster. Near the end of each session of classes we are offering a match play event to allow kids to use all of the skills they have learned and experience playing real matches. This round robin format allows students to continue playing regardless of a win or loss.
Cost $20 members $25 non-members
