When first opened in 1971, River Trails was one of only a few indoor tennis clubs in the Chicagoland area.  Playing tennis year-round was becoming increasing popular and we were forced to build another 3 courts the following year to keep up with the increasing demand.  Since tennis was primarily an outdoor sport, seven Har-Tru (clay) courts were included in the plans.

River Trails is located slightly west of O'Hare and just off the Northwest Tollway. We attract members from the entire Chicagoland area. Known for almost 40 years as "The Players' Club", we facilitate fine tennis competition and the best league system.

Our facility features 9 indoor courts for year-round play, 7 outdoor clay courts, whirlpool and sauna. The comfortable lounge with fireplace, everything-supplied locker rooms, and friendly desk personnel will make you feel right at home.
